Trichomoniasis Symptoms in Singapore: Trichomoniasis, often called “trich,” is a disease often transmitted by unprotected sex. It is easily curable with a course of antibiotics.

Symptoms of Trichomoniasis

If you’re a man, you may not experience any signs of trichomoniasis, although some men do have symptoms. These can include a thin, whitish discharge from the penis, pain or a burning sensation while urinating and/or ejaculating, and redness or soreness around the foreskin and the head of the penis. You may also feel the urge to urinate more frequently than normal.

Most women also do not experience any symptoms, though they can still infect others by sexual contact. If you do have symptoms of trichomoniasis, you may feel pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse, itching of the genitals, soreness or itching around the vagina, and a profuse, greenish and frothy vaginal discharge with a foul or fishy smell. You may also have abnormally painful periods.
